dear internets
I am not dead.
Love,
Emily
Just kidding. I mean, I'm not dead, that is true. But I have a little more than that to say.
-R* has been working as a consultant for a few months and we're feeling a bit less terrified about money.
-We had our taxes done and it looks like our refund should be big enough to enable us to tell the IRS to go eff themselves this year.
-A bunch of my friends have had babies recently and that's a lot of happy. And baby snuggles.
-Work is going fine. I continue to adore my coworkers.
-It's not pitch-dark outside when I leave for work at ridiculous o'clock in the morning!
-I don't feel quite as much like my lungs will fly out of my nose when I try to run, thanks to several months of biweekly workouts.
There are still things troubling me, too, but I'll get back to that another time.

Emily

Hi. I stumbled across your blog while looking for information on CNA programs in the area. I am planning to attend nursing school soon, but I have a BA in English , so have to get all the prereqs before I can apply. I noticed that you also had to go back for prereqs and were debating whether it would be better to go for the accelerated nursing degree (if you have a degree already) or just go for the 4 year BSN. Having already finished, which option do you think is better in terms of finding a job/costs, et.? You're probably super busy and I'm just some random person, but if you have any suggestions/comments, I'd appreciate it! Thanks! :)
Hi Emily,
Your blog has been wonderful and I've been intermittently following it for about 2 years.
Some of the things you wrote about buoyed me at critical times and some set good examples when I needed them (especially when you wrote about how much you studied and when you needed to move).
Keep up the good work, if you're of a mind.
