doing all right
Our diabetic kitty is doing pretty well. We just started to notice in the last day or two that he seems to be perking up a bit. He actually jogged into the kitchen for dinner tonight, which he hasn't done lately. And he just seems a little more alert.
In other non-news, we decided that we're not going to go to Ireland with my folks in the fall. We just couldn't bear the idea of leaving Mr. Black Cat alone (or boarded at the vet) for 10 days or so with his advanced age and fragile health. Ireland will still be there next year, right?

It's a very responsible and grown-up thing to stay home with your elderly obligation. I'm proud of you for it!
