I'm number two!

I just got a call from the nursing program... and I am the second person on the alternate list for spring quarter!!! The administrator told me that obviously there are no guarantees, but it is not uncommon for two or more accepted students to drop out. So, I'll be going to the orientation meeting the first week in March so I would be ready to roll if I get the call.

I am so excited, I am just beside myself!

Comments:
Oh, I am excited for you! This is great news, and I hope it leads to more great news in short order.

That's great! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya!

hang in there!we'll all celebrate with you later :)

Great news! I'm very happy for you - I know you've worked very hard to get in, and I bet you will!

RN here we come!

Come do your psych rotation with me... ;)

I hope I can, Hypnokitten! :) I'm so anxious about psych nursing (I know, ahead of myself since I haven't been accepted yet) and I would love to have someone to hold my hand the first day.

I knew this would happen. You won't be #2 very long!

You and hypnokitten would be a good team. Psych rotation is a roller coaster. I never know whether to laugh or cry (I fit right in!)

Fingers and toes crossed for you. When are you likely to hear? When would classes start?

Hang in there.. I was Number #1 alternate 2 1/2 years ago in my nursing program in NC. I got in and will be graduating this May. It wasn't easy, a LONG, tough process, but well worth it.. the job offers are flooding in already.. yippee!

Hang in there!! Good luck. There are always people who drop out. Hopefully it will be early enough in the semester.
