God. It is so embarrassing to live in this state. I have a couple of friends of the Legislature who try to carry on a normal, level conversation with some of the radical right, but they are a mean, cold, intimidating bunch.

There are some real wild eyed people in power here. But when I read the history of this state (consider John Brown and the abolitionists) there were always crazy people here. Even if they were crazy for a good cause, like opposing slavery.

I am really concerned about our governor's race for 2006.
