what a fun blog! I wish I had time to look at it in detail...here's the dirt on my Physiology class. after sitting in for 3 days with this ___hole who says he wants us to sit at tables with old/young (guess who is old?) students. Then we are to "peer tutor" each other. Well, the gals at my table don't know squat and one is retaking Phys because she got a D in an upper level Phys course. She thinks the instructor from which she didn't learn before, who happens to be the same guy, is going to somehow teach her something now.

I am old enough to know better. And frankly, I'm ticked that this guy has a job when he's not doing anything more than an online instructor would. His taking up a seat prevents the class from having a better teacher who might be out there on the job market.

So, to make a pissed off long story short, I petitioned the chair of the department, got another instructor whose class was full (but he came highly recommended) and sat in on it today. I learned more in 1 hour than I learned from reading the first 4 chapters of the text.

I've succeeded in changing sections. Hooray. See blog for more detail.
