2004 Votes

This map represents the diffusion of Republican vs. Democratic votes throughout the states by color. The more red the color, the more Republican votes in the state. It is an interesting way of looking at it - it's not as though every single voter in, say, Indiana is a raving idiot. Utah, on the other hand... I think the nice folks at Dooce and Blurbomat might be the only Democratic voters in that state.

Wow. Very interesting way to look at the election. I'm actually surprised to see as much purple (blend of the two) as there is. I would've expected the south and midwest to be nearly red. Thanks for sharing the link.
