R* had a close encounter with a hummingbird this morning. He was in the upstairs bathroom (the tiling project bathroom), and the window was open a couple of inches. There's a Rose of Sharon tree right outside the window - and as R* looked out, he could see and hear a hummingbird visiting the flowers! He said it was making noise other than just humming, too - it was peeping a little peepy song. I am so jealous that I missed the visitation.
